Terms of Service

Who we are

Run it Back is an independent app operated by Germain Preston ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you use the Run it Back mobile or web app ("the App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to them.

Your account

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App.

Keeping it secure

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.

One account per person

Accounts are personal. Signing in with Google, Apple, or LinkedIn using an email address that already has an account will sign you into that same account rather than creating a second one.

What you can and can't do

Use the App to keep track of people you actually meet. Please don't:

  • Upload contact data you have no legitimate reason to hold
  • Use the App to send unsolicited bulk messages
  • Scrape, resell, or redistribute data from the App
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data
  • Interfere with, overload, or reverse-engineer the service
  • Use the App for anything unlawful, or in breach of LinkedIn's own terms

Your content

You own it

The contacts, notes, and follow-ups you enter belong to you. We don't claim ownership of them and we don't sell them.

What we do with it

We store and process your content only to operate the App for you — syncing it across your devices, showing it back to you, and sending the reminders you ask for. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Data about other people

When you save someone's details, you are responsible for having a legitimate reason to hold them, and for honouring any request they make to be removed. You can delete any contact at any time.

Your public profile

If you set up a public profile, the fields you choose to publish are visible to anyone with your profile link — including people who are not signed in. Only publish what you're happy to share publicly. You can edit or clear those fields at any time.

Availability

The App is provided as-is and as-available. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change or be removed. We'll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes, but we may need to act immediately to protect the service or its users.

Ending your use

By you

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and the data attached to it.

By us

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll tell you why.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data or lost business arising from your use of the App. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the App changes. The effective date above will change when we do, and continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised terms.
